Ques. What was your interview score as per the key released by the institutes?

Ques. Your Professional Experience (Please mention total years of work experience, your designation, company, profile – Please mention all the companies you have worked with)

Two years, eight months(2011-2014). I worked as a design engineer in Analog Devices. My work was on the verification of digital components of VLSI chips.

Ques. Your Panel (number of interviewers/their background/other details):

Three interviewers. Member 1 and 3 are male, and Member 2 is female.

Ques. Please mention details of your PGDBA 2020 interview (Please elaborate as much as possible. This will help future aspirants in the same way past years’ interview experiences helped you this year).

Member 1

He read my details in the bio-data form and asked me if I wanted to tell anything extra. I mentioned to him my hobbies in a way that he didn’t read from the bio-data. I also told him that I was preparing for civil services after resigning from the job.

Member 2

Asked me why I wanted to join PGDBA, for which I answered. Then, she asked me questions about current affairs. What are the issues related to the implementation of the National digital health mission? What is Mission Karmayogi, and how is it going to be implemented?

Then, Member 1 asked me two maths questions, which I answered.

Member 3: (He seems to be a faculty in ECE).

He asked me technical questions related to electronics and communications.

1. What is the Nyquist rate?

2. What are the benefits and issues related to the scaling down of transistor size?

I didn’t expect technical questions to be asked as a long time has been passed since I last worked in the field. I answered the questions but didn’t give complete answers. The Panel kept in mind that I studied these a long time back. Member 3 was helpful, and he was giving me clues. I recollected the concepts and answered the rest of the points based on the clues.

Then, Member 1 asked me if I could show them the original certificate of an extracurricular activity(Related to an astronomy exam in 12th). They gave me time to bring the original from the cupboard. I got the original and showed them.

On the whole, Panel was cordial.
