Three panelists, probably one from each of the three participating college

There was some connection glitch from my side, so my interview was interrupted a couple of times in between. Overall the length of the interview was around 25 minutes. The panelists were quite supportive, polite, and witty throughout the interview. So, I felt more or less like regular communication and easier than my mock interview at AI Monks.
They tested me more on Mathematics and the side of the Current affair. The most unpredictable part was they didn’t ask any Stats questions and even just one ML question, though I did have a few months working in ML and Deep learning models.
Questions from Mathematics were easy to moderate and intermediate level. Current affairs and the following questions were on the expected lines. Overall, a decent interview.

How can AI enhance the quality of Banking applications? As I worked in the fintech domain for around three years.

- Prove the formula of the sum of n integers in AP.
- To calculate the area under the curve y = x^3 and Tell me another way to calculate the area under the curve (other than normal integration)
- Number of APs in between 1 to 100.
- Bayes theorem related one easy probability question(Don’t remember exact question)
- A moderate level question from Compound Interest.
Ques. Please mention the specific General Awareness question asked in the PGDBA 2020 Interview.
As I mentioned that I work for Tokyo based bank, so they asked me –
- Recent major events of Japan (Shinzo Abe stepping down)
- How does the Bilateral relationship will get impacted because of the stepping down of Shinzo abe?
- Some factual questions about Tokyo like the number of companies listed in the NIKKEI index and major contender for the post of PM
- As I belong from Bihar and Bihar assembly elections is going to happen in a couple of months, so they asked few questions regarding that –
- What is the probability of Nitish Kumar to become CM?
- What are the external factors that will affect the probability?
- How can you help Nitish Kumar to become CM by working as his election strategist?

- Tell me about yourself
- Work-life balance in Japan

Some basic electronics questions –
- Draw EX-OR gate
- Difference between electrical and electronics equipment.
Ques. Any suggestions for the next year batch?
Don’t just expect Data Science and Machine Learning questions during the interviews because even when I worked in developing various ML and Deep Learning models and was quite good prepared in Stats, I didn’t get any single question in the interview.
Try to be genuine and have a broader view of everything you did in the last 4-5 years.
Also, try to score as much as possible in writing itself, considering the interview is quite unpredictable.
