The launch of different cloud-based and AI-powered Big Data Analytics platform has enabled the National Highway Authority of India to go “Fully Digital.”
“The AI-powered platform has transformed the entire project management workflow of NHAI from manual to the online portal based,” said Data Lake and Project Management Software, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The ministry informed that the platform configured the ‘workflow with timelines’ and ‘alert mechanism’ and other execution programs—the portal acts as a medium to do all contractual decisions, project documentation, and approvals.
The Data Lake software will use advanced analytics to forecast delays and give advance alerts for potential disputes. Historically gathered data would lay the basis for predicting the financial impacts of different alternatives and make timely decisions.
NHAI has a history of having numerous pending cases; most of them are generic. The AI-powered software helps minimize disputes by keeping track and checking all the constraints. It also ensures the timely completion of work transparently.
