Admission Process
Students must meet the following conditions in order to be eligible for admission to the course-
- The initial selection will be made on the basis of the CAT score, past academic performance (10th and 12th scores and graduation scores), and prior work experience
- After the selection from the application process, based on the CAT score and other criteria, the candidates will be called for a personal interview. During the interview, the panel will evaluate each candidate’s academic background, analytical thinking, communication skills, and other personal traits.
- After this, shortlisted candidates will be required to take a Written Ability Test (WAT) on a topic provided by IIMB. The topics will typically reflect the current socio-political, economic and business affairs. However, other topics that require a creative thinking approach, such as sports, etc. may also be included. The written test will last for a duration of 30 minutes.
It must be noted that the interview round and the WAT submission will both be evaluated separately. The scores of WAT, interview and pre-PI scores (with appropriate weightages) will be used cumulatively in the second and the final phase to select the final candidates for the programme.
The institute claims to revise the selection criteria every year.
