Masters of Artificial Intelligence(AI) at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology(RMIT), Austalia, aims to teach students the design and implementation of applications and systems in high-tech resources

Students opting for this course have to choose between two options:
  • Project Stream: In this stream, students have to complete an AI postgraduate project. They also have to choose two electives in each IT and AI.
  • Research Stream: Students have to complete a research methods module and write a minor thesis in this stream. They also have to choose two AI electives and one IT elective.

The Masters of AI at RMIT course is a 2-years or 24-months full-time regular classroom course.

Fee 

The annual fee for this course is INR 3600000. Students also have to pay an additional fee of AU$308 as student services and amenities fee. Apart from this, they will also have to take up expenses for field trips, equipment, and textbooks.

Moreover, students can also apply for loans through FEE-HELP or SA-HELP. In addition to this, RMIT also provides more than 2000 scholarships to recognize their academic achievements.

Admissions Criteria

The candidate will be eligible for admission if he or she meets the following criteria:

⦁ An Australian bachelor’s degree in computing, science, engineering, or health, or statistics. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0 out of 4.0.

OR

⦁ An Australian bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, and, relevant completed courses in programming and statistics in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or a minimum three years’ of current, relevant work experience or professional practice as a statistician, programmer or equivalent. 

Furthermore, if students wish their industry experience be considered at the time of admission, they need to provide detailed CV dates of employment, previous positions, and position responsibilities.
