PGD or Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics aims to enable working professionals to acquire essential skills and knowledge while analyzing the right kind of data. The course ultimately seeks to provide the students/working professionals with insight from the analysis to drive decisions.

Curriculum
The program provides a mix of courses focussed on the usage of tools and techniques for data visualization, modeling, and analysis of varieties of data of different sizes, machine learning, algorithms, cloud computing and domain-specific applications of data analysis in Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, and Public Policy. The in-house faculty of IIM Ahmedabad will teach the course.
To be precise, PGD in Advanced Business Analytics at IIM A has been drafted into the following six modules.
Center
Considering the working professionals, IIM A conducts the program using both online and on-campus (classroom sessions) mediums and the assignment of projects. Students will receive three in-campus modules, each of which should be covered in one week. Students will have to visit the campus for around two days for the project work.
Eligibility
- The course is suitable for working professionals with at least two years of work experience, preferably in the domain of analytics. The institute will exempt the candidates who have an exceptional academic qualification.
- An undergraduate degree
- A valid test score of GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE or PGP-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test result

Admission to PGP in Advanced Business Analytics

- Self-attested copies of degree and academic transcripts
- Latest photograph
- Either take the PGP-ABA qualifying test. The test will be of 1.5 hours and comprise three sections- English comprehension, Logical reasoning & Data interpretation, and Quantitative Aptitude.

- GMAT (minimum score- Verbal- 70th percentile and above, Quantitative- 85th percentile and above)
- GRE (minimum score- Verbal- 70th percentile and above, Quantitative- 85th percentile and above)
- CAT (minimum score- Verbal- 70th percentile and above, DILR- 85th percentile and above, QA- 85th percentile and above)
- GATE (minimum score- 90th percentile and above)
- The next step for the shortlisted candidates is a personal interview. Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi are the predicted locations for conducting the interview. However, on request, the interview may also be conducted over video conference.
Kindly note that the students can either present their score of the PGP-ABA qualifying test or the other exams. Only one of the test scores will be applicable.
