Program Delivery
The Advanced Programme in Data Sciences by IIM Calcutta will be delivered through online classes held through the VCNow platform twice a week(on Sunday 9:30 AM-12:30 PM and Wednesday 6:30 PM-9:30 PM.) Additionally, it will include three mandatory campus visits.
Project
The students of the Advanced Programme in Data Sciences (APDS) by IIM Calcutta have to form small teams and undertake organization-based specialized or comprehensive projects of their choice in marketing, finance, and operations guided by IIMC faculty. These projects will have to be submitted and presented during a 4-day IIMC Campus module towards the end of the programme.
Successful completion of the program will enable the participants to acquire a strong foundation for applying advanced quantitative and statistical tools to make the most effective decisions driven by sound data analysis.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the course are as follows.
- Applicants should be either self-employed or working professional
- Graduation or Post Graduation(any discipline) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks recognized by AICTE/UGC.
- A minimum of 3 years(full-time paid employment) of work experience post completion of graduation as on Application Closure Date

Students who want to pursue the Advanced Programme in Data Sciences (APDS) by IIM Calcutta have to fill the application form, which will be available here when they start the new batch. Students have to pay an application fee of INR2500+GST(non-refundable.)

Campus Visit
The campus visit is a crucial and mandatory part of the programme. It enables face-to-face sessions, get to network amongst themselves, and meets the faculty members. But, it is not a company meet for job placement. There will be 3 campus visits spanning 10 days (3+4+3 days respectively for each visit) in total.
Facilities
IIM Calcutta provides accommodation to the Management Development Centre participants, which has well-furnished air-conditioned rooms, all equipped with intercom facilities, seamless internet connectivity, en-suite bathrooms, and private verandas.
Moreover, there are study areas and social spaces open to the entire community on the campus. The participants can also access the library facilities while on campus.
Assessments
To successfully complete the programme, participants require (a) at least 66% attendance in each of the courses and (b) to have not obtained more than two “Poor” grades in the whole programme.
Alumni Status
Students who complete the APDS program successfully will bestow the IIM Calcutta Executive Education Alumni Status. They will become alumni of IIMC-Executive Education. Executive Education Alumni will be entitled to a discount of 5% on the programme fee if they opt to do another LDP.
Certificate of Completion
Students receive a certificate of completion upon completion of all requirements of the Advanced Programme in Data Sciences. IIM Calcutta carries out all examinations and evaluations related to the certification.
Placement
LDPs cater to working professionals who aspire to hone their skills to better adapt and grow in the continually evolving corporate sector. Hence, IIM Calcutta does not provide any placement assistance to the participants of LDPs.
