The much-awaited PGDBA admission notification is finally out! The Opening Date of Registration of the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics is April 01, 2021, at 4:00 PM. And, the last day to register is April 20, 2021. The notification also mentions the date of the PGDBA Admission Test, i.e., Sunday, May 09, 2021.

Fee
The fee for application form is INR 2,500/- (INR 1,250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories).
Total course fee for PGDBA 2021 intake is INR 2,400,000 which students usually have to pay in four equal installments.

Exam Pattern
Test Duration: 3 hours.
Total Number of Questions: 50 Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) questions carrying 150 marks
Every question will have only one correct answer.
You will score:
- 3 marks for each correctly answered question
- 0 mark for each un-attempted question, and
- -1 mark for each incorrectly answered question
Syllabus
- Verbal Ability: Grammar/correction of sentences; Reading & Comprehension.
- Logical Reasoning: Statements and Conclusions, Matching and sequences, Logical connectives.
- Data Interpretation and Data Visualisation: Data-driven questions(graphs, trends, pie charts).
- Quantitative Aptitude: Combinatorics, Algebra (solutions of quadratic equations, simultaneous linear equations, binomial theorem, series, inequalities, AP, GP, HP, matrices), Sets, Coordinate geometry (lines, circles, conic sections), Euclidean geometry, Calculus (limits, continuity, derivative, maxima & minima, functions, methods of integration, evaluation of areas using integration), and Trigonometry (triangles, trigonometric identities, heights, and distances).
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must hold a graduate/postgraduate degree with any of the following: with CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale or at least 60% marks in the Qualifying Degree(B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com./ B. Tech. or equivalent) or 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2. One-year MBA will not be considered an equal of M.Com/M.Sc.
- Candidates with 10+2+3(Engineering diploma)+3(lateral entry into B.Tech./B.E.) with r CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale or at least 60% marks in the Qualifying Degree (B. Tech./ B.E.), or with 10+2+4(B.Sc.) with CGPA 6.5 on a scale of 10 points or at least 60% marks in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B. Sc.), or with B.Com. + CA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA considered together) are also eligible.
- For candidates with Person with Disabilities (PwD) and SC/ ST category, the eligibility shall be CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale or qualifying marks of 55%.
- If the awarding Institute provides marks in the CGPA system, the CGPA of the degree will not be converted into percentage marks. The Institute shall consider their admission based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. The candidate’s eligibility will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10-point scale if the CGPA score is on a different scale than 10.
- Candidates in the final year can also apply, given they appear in the final exam and complete other academic requirements on July 31, 2021. Admission of candidates in the final year will be provisional subject to submission of the final mark sheet by December 31 2021.
Shortlisting Criteria for Personal Interview (PI)
The Institute shall shortlist the candidates for Personal Interview based on their score in the PGDBA-2021 entrance exam.

Depending on the length of service as of February 28, 2021, a maximum of seven points will be awarded for work experience. The Institute shall only consider formal work experience after completion of a qualifying degree. Project work/work done as an integral part of curricular requirement/training will not be considered.
The Tri-institute PGDBA Admission Committee will develop the final merit list after considering all the above performance indicators. Minimum qualification according to the above mentioned criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for PGDBA admission. Any false information or suppression of fact will lead to the rejection of candidature at any stage of the selection process.
Reservation Policy
According to the Government of India (GOI) stipulations for SC/ST/EWS/NC-OBC and Person with Disabilities candidates. The candidates must submit the certificate issued on or after April 01, 2020, in the case of NC-OBC & EWS.
