Leadership through Analytics and Decision Sciences (L.E.A.D.) is a Post Graduate Certificate Program offered by TAPMI Business School in association with M.U. Sigma. The program aims to create next-generation decision science leaders who will use innovative problem solving to transform Fortune 500 companies. M.U. L.E.A.D. at TAPMI Business school is an 11-month long program with certification.
Program Phases and Structure
L.E.A.D. is a program by TAPMI, which is divided into three phases.

Eligibility for Admission
The criteria for admission in L.E.A.D. at TAPMI Business school are as follows:
- The student requires a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in their undergrad and not more than four backlogs.
- The minimum Work experience of 2 years is required. However, It should not be more than six years.
Admission Process
The admission process is divided into two rounds, followed by a personal interview(P.I.).
Round 1: Individual problem-solving round
Candidates are required to pick a real-world problem of their own choice and present a solution for it through a video. This video should not be more than 4 minutes long, and the candidate needs to upload it on Youtube.
The business school will evaluate candidates based on the difficulty and relevance of the chosen problem, creativity, simplicity, and practicality of the solution along with their presentation skills.
This round takes place in the candidate’s location and needs to be carried out before the final interview.
Round 2: Collaborative Problem-Solving Round
Candidates will be given a real-world business problem and are required to solve it as a group.
The school will evaluate the candidates based on teamwork, initiative, the definition of the problem, representation of the solution, and sustainability of implementation.
This round takes place at the Mu Sigma Office/Online jointly by Mu Sigma and T.A.P.M.I. Faculty.
Personal Interview (P.I.): The business school conducts a Behavioral Personal Interview to understand the applicant’s attitude towards management education. They evaluate the candidates based on Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Leadership, and Communication.
The school makes the candidate’s final selection based on their weighted average score with the following parameters :

Fee
The program fee is Rs. 6,00,000 (inclusive of GST). This fee covers both Tuition and Accommodation. Students who wish to make their accommodations are required to deduct Rs 40,000/- and pay the remaining amount.
Food expenses:
⦁ At TAPMI, Manipal: Students have to pay a minimum cost of Rs 4,000 per month for three meals a day.
⦁ At M.U. Sigma, Bangalore: The university provides food to all students free of cost.
Travel expenses
These will be on the student’s own costs.

The minimum starting compensation for a Trainee Apprentice Leader with 2-3 years of experience will be a cost-to-company of Rs. 9,00,000 plus performance-based pay. Companies consider candidates with higher experience for higher compensation based on their performance.
