In the light of coronavirus pandemic, we saw dozens of tech conference cancellations this year. To keep the spirits up, IBM announced they were turning their developer’s conference, Think 2020, into a digital event. Following IBM’s footsteps, Rockwell Automation, the automation leader, announced launching a series of free events online, called VirtualConnect.
The virtual event is set to take place on May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.(CET).
The idea behind launching VirtualConnect is to give manufacturers an insight into how technology can solve the operational and strategic challenges that occur. The virtual platform will enable them to follow learning programs, “walk through” the digital showroom and network among peers and with experts.
The virtual event will elaborate on how Intelligent technology can help users gather data and make better decisions to optimize operational efficiency and increase productivity.
The event shall enable the attendees to communicate with Automation experts in real-time to gain a better understanding of the products and solutions.
The industry is agile and is embracing digital tools with open arms to maintain continuous learning remotely, and this is clearly visible through the announcement of the launch of the VirtualConnect events.
