The COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated a shift towards remote working and e-learning. In an effort to promote e-learning and upskill the youth, IIT Roorkee launched an advanced course in deep learning at Cloudxlab.com.
The current economic crisis highlighted the significance of the technical skills needed to tackle the global slowdown. IIT Roorkee’s Director, Ajit K Chaturvedi, said, ” the course is for people who wish for a career in the field of AI and ML.”
It is a 45+ hours long course, with instructor-led training. Students will be given projects, case studies, and assignments to keep a check on their progress. The IIT Roorkee will also provide a certificate of completion for the students at the end of the course.
IIT Roorkee and CloudxLab will conduct a webinar on ML and AI on May 17. The webinar will include faculty members from IIT Roorkee and few members of the industry as well.
The importance of ML and Deep Learning has been recently recognized, which had laid the basis for introducing this course. Machine Learning and Deep Learning are the ultimate approaches to solve a problem as it is more accurate than other approaches.
