  • Tata steel aims to automate sensors that can predict machinery breakdown in advance and help in maintenance.

  • Ancillary companies will automate foundry and machine shop areas.

The companies are going to invest in new technology, so the financial position of a company remains a crucial factor. But the returns are going to huge in terms of increased productivity and preparedness for future calamities.

This shift from man to machine will still need a different set of skilled people to continue the functioning of the company.

With these skilled sets of people and investment in new technology, companies will get back on their feet after the pandemic.
