Accenture, a professional services firm, acquired Ahemdabad-based IT company Byte Prophecy to meet the increasing demand for large-scale AI and Digital Analytics solutions across the region. The financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed.

The acquisition will make an addition of nearly fifty data scientists and data engineering experts, with a significant focus on insight automation, to Accenture Applied Intelligence.
The change will help clients in areas such as advanced analytics and data foundations by deepening existing technology and consulting capabilities.

Piyush N Singh, Accenture’s market lead for India and sales lead for Growth Markets, said, “Byte Prophecy has the right mix of consulting and technology skills, and client-centric culture, which makes it the best partner for Accenture.”

Athina Kanioura, Accenture’s chief analytics officer and global lead for Applied Intelligence, said that Accenture was already working with Byte Prophecy for the past two years.

Murugank Parikh, the co-founder of Byte Prophecy, believes that the collaboration with Accenture will ensure more substantial assets and expansion of services to a more extensive group of clients in the emerging market.

Accenture had also made Applied Intelligence acquisitions in Spain, Australia, North American, and the UK to help clients across the scale of the markets AI and to enhance its portfolio of technologies.
