The robotics company utilizes AI-enabled robots to gather infrastructural data to help determine what is failing or could fail and assist with maintenance.

Inspecting infrastructure, from pipes to pressure vessels, tanks to boilers, and silos the traditional way put people in danger. Instead, Gecko Robotics uses these AI-powered machines and platforms to identify integrity related to issues with infrastructure and help with assessments and also predicts when things might fail. The best way to do integrity inspections is by going to the intended places that need investigation and do spot checks with sensors, which is safe and a lot faster.

The company doesn’t just sell a customer a robot but uses its software to analyze the data gathered and deploy AI and ML to predict future failures.

To curb the possibility of oversupply as producing nations would seek market share after the drastic fall in demand following COVID-19 pandemic, Loosararian suggests the adoption of automation. Automation will not only reduce footprint at well sites but will also gather more information and inspect infrastructure quickly and safely.

The services provided by Gecko Robotics gives its customers a competitive advantage. Adopting AI and Robotics will make inspection safe, reduce shutdowns, help the environment, and extend the life of the equipment.

#AIMonks #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Robotics #GeckoRobotics #Infrastructure #Data #Machines #ML #MachineLearning #COVID19 #Customer #Oversupply #Demand

Reading Time: < 1 minutes The Pittsburgh-based Gecko Robotics‘s co-founder and CEO, Jake Loosararian, has created a pro-active way of maintaining critically important and expensive infrastructure.
